drip drop bass drop

Bassnectar's dubstep remix of an alternative metal anthem yielded surprising results.  In "Prince," the Deftones did what they do best:  construct immovable pillars of clear, resonating vocals at the epicenter of earth-shaking waves of piercing distortion. While being heavy and unyielding, the tones are, nevertheless, crystal clear and neatly laid out.
The best part is that this remix does not contain much remixing.
Rather than contribute additional chaos, Bassnectar is perfectly happy plugging in some well-placed beats and accentuating some natural breaks in the song.  Even the bass drop itself is clean and stripped.

The end result speaks for itself.
The fists are loaded and the heads are bobbing.
This track kills.
