My kryptonite: sexy, blonde, edgy, and veins filled with rock 'n' roll. I need to admit my bias up front when I'm talking about a band with my prototypical dream girl as the lead singer. Outside of the fact that I want to make music with Mette Lindberg both inside and outside of the bedroom, The Asteroids Galaxy Tour has got a pretty sick-nasty funky-fresh sound. The vocals are dripping with that I-don't-give-a-shit rock n roll swagger with the right amount of sexy ass raspiness. You also have a horns section that fills every track with a big band funkiness that just gets into every nook and cranny. Top that off with some occasional synth for the kids and you've got a young band that's going places.
Did I mention the lead singer is sexy as hell?
